Abhasa rehabilitation centre provides a wellness retreat to all addicts and understands their mindset from the roots. They are taken care of with integrity in a luxury environment by a panel of experts including doctors.
Abhasa in Sanskrit means Constant exercise. It is the practice that brings stillness to the mind. We believe in constant practice which is vital for ones behavioural patterns to take the route of recovery from alcohol and drugs.
An addiction is a process which involves ingesting drugs or alcohol or engaging in activities that stimulate the pleasure centres of the brain. It is exemplified by continued compulsive behaviour that compromises a persons health, career and relationships.
The brain of an addict physically changes when he or she continues the kind of behaviour that drives their addiction, especially when the addiction involves drugs or alcohol. However, any stimulating response can cause changes that lead to addiction.
People use drugs or alcohol to escape, relax, or reward themselves. You sometimes use more than you would like to use. For example, one drink leads to another, or one line of cocaine leads to more. You continue to use them despite adverse consequences. For example, you continue to drink even though it hurts your relationships.
The most critical consequences of addiction are social, emotional, and psychological. People usually think of the physical and economic effects of addiction. I dont have a serious addiction because my health is fine, and I havent lost my job. But those are very late stage consequences. Those are the consequences that can motivate you to begin recovery.
We undergo 12 necessary fundamental procedures in the path of recovery that will help you prevent potential negative consequences of addiction so that you will be ready to quit before you have lost everything.
