Article Body:
N-acetylneuramic acid is one of the 8 saccharides known as Glyconutrients the others are:

 Mannose
 Glucose
 Galactose
 Xylose
 Fucose (not fructose)
 N-acetylglucosamine
 N-acetylgalactosamine

N-acetylneuramic acid is used in the learning process and brain development. It helps with many blood functions and improves the immune system. The levels of this saccharide decrease, as we get older. It is also known as sialic acid. Sialic acid plays a vital role in cell communication. It works as receptors on the cell surface and is found in many different tissues of the body.

Raised levels of Sialic acid have been found in the body in the later months of pregnancy. Sialic acid is found to play a large role in brain development of small mammals. It has been shown to be having a substantial decrease in those with respiratory disease older age and alcoholics. It regulates metabolism in red blood cells and glycoprotein synthesis.

Sialic acid affects the flow of mucus and repels harmful bacteria and other microbes from the body. In addition it has been shown to be helpful in lessening the risk of kidney stones. It has been shown to improve memory function. It has been shown to block histamine and could be useful in combating allergies.

N-acetylneuramic acid is found in breast milk and a few natural foods.

Due to environmental changes and green harvests we are not getting enough of these vital Glyconutrients. When taking supplements for these saccharides it is advisable to take them all together rather than separately. In this way there is less chance of side effects.

Whether this is the first time youve ever heard of a glyconutrient, or youve known about it for a while, youre probably asking: What can a glyconutrient do for me?

First of all, let me very briefly describe how a glyconutrient works in your body: Did you know that your cells have an alphabet that they use to communicate? - A Glyconutrient , which is just a special nutrient, is the alphabet that your cells use to communicate! And unless your cells have all 8 glyconutrients, they cant communicate properly, which means that your body cant operate correctly. When your cells cant communicate properly, they mis-communicate. Which means your cells cant kill viruses, bacteria, etc. Sometimes when your cells mis-communicate, they start killing each other, which is what we call an auto-immune disease.

So, as I think youll realize, a glyconutrient is absolutely essential for your health! It doesnt matter if you have concus of the boncus, or anything else, you need glyconutrient technology!

Ambrotose is a supplement that incorporates all these essential nutrients. When you take these nutritional supplements your body will function better and you will feel healthier. This will allow you to live life to the fullest.
