Mutual, Insurance Company, or Insurance Broker. After that, many will approach the SMA asking for the recommended provider within each model. Based on many factors – the track record in medical practice indemnity, the willingness to listen to our suggestions, and to communicate transparently, the major features of their indemnity products etc – the SMA Council has selected MPS as the preferred Mutual, Income as the preferred Insurance Company, and JLT as the preferred Insurance Broker for providing medical practice indemnity to SMA Members.
