CaraÅŸ Severin pentru unele specialităţi care se regăsesc doar la Spitalul JudeÅ£ean de Urgenţă ReÅŸiÅ£a (gastroenterologie, nefrologie ÅŸi hemodializă cronică, hematologie, oncologie, diabetologie ÅŸi boli de nutriÅ£ie) îndeplinind totodată ÅŸi funcÅ£ia de spital de urgenţă cu unitate primiri urgenÅ£e, care a acordat asistenţă medicală de urgenţă pe anul 2010 a peste 42.000 pacienÅ£i.\n\nSpitalul JudeÅ£ean de Urgenţă ReÅŸiÅ£a în prezent funcÅ£ionează cu 835 paturi după cum urmează: StaÅ£ionar I - parter plus 6 nivele cu 460 paturi, 12 secÅ£ii ÅŸi compartimente(secÅ£ia Obstenică Ginecologie - 60 paturi, pe două nivele din care: la nivelul II Obstetrică cu 36 paturi, Comp. ORL - 20 paturi, secÅ£ia Cardiologie - 65 paturi) - suprafaţă utilă:16.409 mp.
Staţionar II - amplasat la 5 km de Staţionar I, parter plus 2 nivele cu 220 paturi; cu 5 secţii şi compartimente (secţia Neurologie -40 paturi) - suprafaţa utilă 5.267 mp. Staţionar III - amplasat la 7 km de Staţionar I parter plus 3 nivele cu 155 paturi, funcţionează 3 sectii (Secţia Pneulmoftiziologie - 95 paturi; din care Comp.TBC - 80 paturi, Boli Infecţioase - 40 paturi plus 5 paturi comp.
