Infertility Treatment in India
Infertility is the inability to conceive a child by natural means. When a couple finds it difficult to conceive naturally, medication and special infertility treatment techniques can be adopted to help them get pregnant. Infertility treatment falls under the category of Assisted Reproductive Technology or ART. One of the most well known ART procedures is IVF or In Vitro Fertilization. Usually, all fertility treatments are combined with conventional therapies like intake of fertility drugs to improve the chance of success.
Fertility treatments are very expensive. First of all, the reason for infertility needs to be ascertained, the tests for that are not really what you call inexpensive. Then there is the question of administering the treatment for a long duration of time. The investment required for treating infertility is heavy on both the financial and emotional levels. Compared to the steep costs in UK and the US, India offers the same treatment at a much lesser price. In fact Reproductive Tourism is a fast growing segment in the broad medical tourism spectrum. Doctors in India are not only highly qualified and experienced in fertility treatments, but they also look at the problem in a holistic manner. The hospitals also boast of world class facilities. Treatment Options Some fertility treatment options provided by hospitals in India include
In Vitro Fertilization
Intra Uterine Insemination
Assisted Hatching
IVF using Donor eggs
Cryo Preservation of Embryos
Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection
Semen Bank
